About

This is a placeholder until I can finish a proper ‘about’ page. In short, this site will host various literature culled from computer magazines in an attempt to provide a source book documenting the rapid change in computer technology from 1978 – 1995 (although these dates are not set in stone and it is likely that they will be expanded upon).

Although much of the material published here is available on other sites – notably the Internet Archive’s Magazine Rack – the reviews, essays and opinion pieces are hidden in bulky pdf files and hard to locate. It is the ambition of this site to extract those pieces, transcribe them, and publish in a blog format with accompanying contents pages providing the reader with the ability to locate a specific item.
